Privacy, data & terms

This page explains how your salon’s information is stored, who can reach it, and what you get for your subscription. It is written plainly on purpose.

Your data is yours alone

Every salon on this platform is a separate account with its own customers, staff, services, bookings and bills. No salon can read, search or export another salon’s information.

This is not left to the care of individual screens. Every database request made on behalf of a salon is automatically restricted to that salon before it runs, in one central place in our code. A request that does not name a salon cannot reach salon data at all, and a record can never be created without being stamped with the salon that owns it. Even if a page were written incorrectly, it could not reach across that boundary.

Signing in binds you to your own salon. A session issued for one salon is refused everywhere else, no matter which web address it is presented at.

What we store, and why

We hold two kinds of information:

  • About your salon — your business name and address, your team, your service menu and prices, your opening hours and your website content.
  • About your clients — the name and phone number taken at the counter or at booking, their visit history and their bills. You collect this from your own customers; we store it on your behalf so you can run your salon.

We do not sell this information, rent it, or use one salon’s data to build anything for another. We do not run advertising on it.

Who can see it

Inside your salon: the owner sees everything. Everyone else — managers, admins and stylists — sees only the pages the owner has granted them, and that grant is checked afresh on every single request, so removing someone’s access takes effect immediately rather than whenever they next sign out.

On our side: a small number of platform staff can see account-level details — your salon name, contact details, plan and payment history — because billing and support cannot work otherwise. We do not browse your client lists or your bills for any other reason.

Payments

Subscriptions are paid by UPI. You pay from your own banking app and then tell us the reference number your bank shows. We never see or store your card number, your UPI PIN, or your banking credentials — only the reference number you type in and the amount.

A payment does not switch your plan on by itself. Our team confirms the money arrived first, and until then your account shows the payment as pending.

Your plan, and what happens when it ends

Plans are sold by the month or by the year, and a paid term is a real date on your account. If you pay for one month, the plan runs for one month; if you pay for a year, it runs for a year. Renewing before your term is up adds to it, so paying early never costs you days.

When a term ends, your account stays open and your data stays intact. The salon becomes read-only: you and your team can still sign in, look up any client, and read every past bill and booking. What stops is saving new work — new bills, bookings, services and staff — until the plan is renewed. Nothing is deleted for non-payment.

An introductory price, where offered, applies to a salon’s first paid term only. Every renewal after that is at the ordinary price, which is always shown next to the offer before you pay.

How it is kept safe

Passwords are stored only as irreversible hashes — we cannot read yours, and neither can anyone who obtained the stored value. Sessions are signed tokens with a limited life. Traffic is encrypted in transit.

Anything you upload, such as gallery photographs, is served from a dedicated media host rather than from the database.

Keeping and deleting data

We keep your salon’s data for as long as the account exists, including while a plan is lapsed, so that nothing is lost if you come back.

If you close your account, everything belonging to it — clients, staff, bookings, bills, photographs and website content — is removed together. You can ask for a copy of your own data, or ask us to delete it, at any time.

Terms of service

You are responsible for the information you enter, including having your clients’ agreement to record their name and phone number. You agree not to use the platform to send unsolicited messages or to store anything unlawful.

We aim to keep the service running continuously, but we do not promise it will never be unavailable. Planned work is kept short and, wherever possible, outside salon hours.

We may change these terms as the product changes. If a change materially affects you, we will say so rather than quietly amending this page, and the date at the top always shows when it last moved.

Getting in touch

Questions about any of this — including a request to export or delete your data — go to the support contacts shown in your salon’s portal, on the Plan & Payment screen.
